Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time
There lived a man
Who took off his head
For a dime.

The headless man
Walked proud
Parading his nape
And made people gape.

It never mattered to him
That a head would bring
A woman to his whim.

He rather argued and blahbered
Out Loud
Words of no value
That made only a sound.

And then one day
A lass came along
And refused to prolong
His self-made valour
Which he always adored.

The lass pulled a string
That did bring
A strange sense of
Belonging.

He placed his head
Upon his neck
And saw every woman
A wonder trick.

There came upon his life
A time and a wife
Of the perfect size
And made our
Headless man
Finally wise.
